Yesterday was a beautiful day were Karson & Kaiden got to see their mom and dad get married. My mom, Katy & I travel to Olympia to the Capitol to see Heidi Hughes marry David Fox. The two have been together for many years and share two children. The wedding was fun and upbeat in the Rotunda. The reception was nicely put together by Heidi’s older sister Shelly. Shelly who is a local interior designer did a wonderful job. Her talents and creativity were remarkable. It was wonderful to spend time with mom’s other side of her family were time doesn’t get spent enough. Heidi is our cousin. My Grandma Wanda and Great Aunt Mary-Nell were sisters. Mary-Nell is Heidi’s Grandmother who is the only living member of her family left.  Heidi & David along with their boys couldn’t have had bigger smiles on their faces. It was great catching up with Shelly and meeting her fiancé who is a cabinet maker. Stacy had a 4^th son born this past January who is very cute. Her boys have gotten so big and the middle one looks like Stacy’s brother Jake when he was a kid. Jake was there with his wife and daughter and they seem to be doing wonderful and are thankful for their jobs. As we drove home last night I couldn’t help but give thanks for feeling of family that I felt last night.  It is always good to feel a part of something and I was grateful for the opportunity my friendship with Heidi took me there last night.
