Time well spent with the kids

Now that the weather is nice again I have been trying to get the boys outside a little more in the afternoons before Frank comes home. You know it won’t be warm for much longer. The Monday we went to the park and the kids had a great time but it was a bit too warm on the slide. Yesterday was really HOT so we stayed in and played with our firehouse. This morning we took stubs on a walk and went to the park while James was at speech. We might have a water fight this afternoon.  There is always time to have fun in the sun.

Today is Fox’s birthday. I can’t believe he is one. I called to talk to Zach and Fox liked to listen to me talk to him. Joie took the phone over and didn’t want to give it back to Zach it was kind of cute. We miss those guys and hope to be able to have them come down for Christmas. The kids need to spend time with each other.

James will have his birthday in a few days and I can’t believe he is getting so big. He is growing so much and I see and hear from those that work with him he is doing great every time he goes to speech or Sunday school.  He loves school and it is helping him a lot! He is like my old James and is more happy and fun to be with. I am thankful for these opportunities he has been given to go to preschool and can’t wait to see how much he has grown come June.

Travis is up to the same old messes. I think misses not having James around all the time.  He is talking more to. That is if you can get the pacifier out of his mouth.  He still will eat anything and everything and he loves Stubs.

I am grateful for my boys and for the time I have to spend with them at home. Life is really like a box of chocolates with all of them you never know what you are going to get!
