On Wednesday James had his 4 yr. check-up. He was his normal self whit not doing stuff for people he doesn’t know and throwing a temper. There were screams and crying over taking his weight and height. We got his weight by me standing on the scale and then me holding him and subtracting my weight. He is 46 lbs and 44 inches tall. This puts him in the 95% for height and weight. He is our big boy!
Following our visit at the doctors we met up with some friends at the park. This park has animals and lots of fun trees to climb in and on. The boys had a great time playing with Ivie and Rebecca while I visited and talked with Christina. Ivie caught a chicken! After a few hours of fresh air we headed home for some dinner. I ate and ran since I had cub scouts that night.
On Friday while the boys took naps I went into the office to help out with some things. When I got home I hung out with the kids until with Daddy could go with us to the pumpkin farm. We picked up Chet on the way and went to Bobs corn maze. A friend, Broc, Frank knows from Carnation Farms, family owns it. We walked the pumpkin patch, played with the John Deer bikes, took the tractor pull to the corn maze, got lost in the maze, took the tractor back, played at the playground and shopped in the farm store for fresh local honey. When we got to the corn maze James wanted to look for the white rabbit. I was in shock. The corn maze we went to last year was an Alice in Wonderland theme. Well we never found the white rabbit but we did fine our way out while Travis chewed and ear of raw feed corn. YUCK! Frank tried it out and thought it was ok. I tried it and thought it tasted like chalk. We ended our day by meeting up with dad for dinner and the local Mexican restaurant. Be sure to check out all our pictures. Some of them our out of order since we added some more of Vegas.
