I wonder sometimes why we allow ourselves to get so busy. This week was busy for me since it’s the end of the year and at work that means Everyone wants in before their insurance renews for 2010. Friday afternoon last week I was in to cover for an employee and then Saturday was my day to work.

Sunday we had a fun filled day. We went to church where Kellie Anderson and her husband, a childhood friend of Franks in Connecticut, came with us. She just moved up here.  After church we went over to Dr. Nohrs home to see Santa. We told the boys if they were good at church they could see Santa. James then asked if we could see Rudolph and a dentist. I told him i could probally show him a dentist.  (Dr. Nohr counts)It was fun for the boys and sweet of Sha to do all she does for us. She really is a mother hen to the office.  Following a short stay there we came home for naps. That evening my cousins Dean, Chelsey and Elizabeth came over with their families along with Kellie, Briant, and my family which means Zachs family too since they are in town. It was a full house but it was nice since we love to fill our home and its even better when it is family especially at this time of year.  Frosty the Snowman came that night for a visit, thanks Dean! Dr. Dean Sheldon provided chiropractic care to family. Best Christmas present to those with back pain… J and then it was time to go home.

Monday was kind of a down day which was nice. I went into the office on Tuesday to help for a few hours since 2 of the front office people were out sick. Frank was working from home and helped with the children and yesterday I worked all day to help cover one gal flying home to family. I find this time to be therapeutic for me since on these days 2 of my favorite patients were in and hugs where shared with stories of the boys. I love that connection with some of the patients. I know this takes me away from the kids but I try to do it within reason. I am grateful for Frank’s job and it allowing me to stay home with our children. There is so much that I would miss if I were not home to be with them. I love the flexibility at Dr. Nohr’s office and feel blessed to be a part of such a great team and wonderful employer.

Stay tuned for our holiday updates. Merry Christmas to all!
