Christmas and days after
Thursday, December 31, 2009

The morning of Christmas was filled with excitement for James. Travis could of slept a little longer however all went well. We had the boys sit on the stairs like I had as a child while Frank and I made everything ready downstairs.  We shared in opening some gifts and our stocking and then quickly got ready and went over to my parents for the rest of Christmas. We had a nice time opening packages picked out for each other and made with love from others. James best gift was a talking Dug from the movie up and Travis loved his lighting Mc Queen scooter.  There were family games played. The kids had more fun than last since this year they had their cousins to play with. The joy the 4 of them bring to each other is the best kind of gift. We are so grateful for Zach and Jenny being able to come home for the holidays. Thanks to mom and dad we were able to be a complete family and that is important. The moments we share and the memories we create only come when we take time to make them. For this I am truly grateful for the gift of family and the importance we share in keeping it alive.

We had a nice dinner where some friends of the family Kelly & Briant came for dinner and for some Rocking out with Rock Band. Overall it was a nice warm holiday. There was nothing over the top but wonderful time together.

This last week has been spent with more time together as a family. We have tried to make every moment possible available to the cousins to be together. They love each other very much and enjoy the time they have together. I will be sad as well the boys when Joie and Fox go home.  Stay tuned for more pictures and be sure to check out all the ones that have been added.  I hope you all had a “Christ”mas day!
